Announcing the Writing Center Accessibility Statement

We are pleased to announce the launching of the Writing Center’s first Accessibility statement! The initiative was first proposed by undergraduate Cade Spencer (’25), who viewed publishing this statement as a necessary first step in deepening the Writing Center’s commitment to disability and accessibility. Tutors Thomas Ohno-Machado (’23), Isabel Janovsky (’23), and Lauren Gaetano (’23) also contributed to drafting the statement, as have representatives from the Academic Resource Council (ARC) and the Disability Cultural Initiative (DCI).

The Writing Center recognizes that improving its accessibility is an ongoing effort, and we greatly welcome any feedback as we continue along this process. Please direct your questions and comments to writingcenter@georgetown.edu (new window).
