When: Friday, November 13, 2:00pm – 3:00pm
Where: Writing Center, 217a Lauinger Library
Come learn how to construct and support a thesis or argumentative paper. The workshop will include examples of real Georgetown papers written by Writing Center tutors and a short, hands-on application of the thesis-writing process. The example papers will help illustrate what effective thesis statements, topic sentences, and evidence presentation look like, while the hands-on portion of the workshop will provide you with an opportunity to apply the methods taught during the presentation.
